All of our studios are equipped with the latest generation of SADiE digital workstations which are the primary record destination.

At the end of the session you can take away your recordings on the usual physical formats – CD, DAT or minidisc; or we can convert it to a data format such as WAV or MP3 and upload it to your FTP site.
Both studios and edit suite are fitted with Soundcraft’s state-of-the-art RM1d digital broadcast mixers, and also have multi-format ISDN codecs for connecting to other studios and radio stations.
We have wireless internet access so you and your clients can stay in touch with your emails, and there are also separate client lounge areas for each studio, where you can relax with a coffee or catch up on the latest gossip from Heat.
Studio 1
Studio 1 has a larger booth and control room, and has plenty of room for round-table discussions of up to 6 guests. The table can also be removed to accommodate small to medium bands for acoustic sessions. Feel free to call and discuss your specific requirements, as we’re very flexible.
The control room can easily be set up for the presenter to self-op the recording, if you’re producing a programme with a more ‘live’ feel.

Studio 2
Studio 2 is more compact, and better suited to single voice-over recording or two-way interviews. We regularly use it to record audiobooks, BBC radio programmes such as Jazz Library and ISDN voice sessions in the UK and abroad.

Edit Suite
Our edit suite is ideal for post production and editing on SADiE. It also houses the Apple iMac which we use with Logic Studio for music and jingle creation.
